Everything active adults and athletes ask us before their first visit, from what to expect in an evaluation to whether it's too late to fix an old injury.

Every session is one-on-one with your therapist for a full hour, never split with another patient or handed off to a tech. That means more hands-on treatment time, faster progress, and a plan built specifically around your body and your goals, not a generic protocol.
We're located at 8988 S Sheridan Rd, Suite A, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at 91st and Sheridan.
No. Oklahoma allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can schedule with us without a physician referral. If your evaluation shows you need a referral to another provider, we'll tell you.
We specialize in orthopedic and sports injuries including shoulder pain and rotator cuff issues, knee pain, runner's knee, IT band syndrome, hip pain, low back pain, ankle sprains, post-surgical rehab, and chronic pain that hasn't resolved elsewhere. Shoulder injuries are the most common reason patients come to us, followed by knee and hip issues.
Yes, running-related injuries are one of our most common cases. Instead of just treating the pain, we analyze your movement patterns, identify the root cause, and build a plan that keeps you running or gets you back to it, rather than telling you to rest and hope it resolves on its own.
No. You don't need imaging to be seen. Many shoulder issues can be accurately diagnosed through a thorough hands-on physical examination. We'll assess your shoulder in detail at your first visit and let you know if imaging is warranted. Plenty of our patients already had an MRI that showed findings but never got a clear plan for what to do about it.
Yes. Post-surgical rehabilitation is a significant part of our practice. Whether you've had an ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, labral repair, or joint replacement, we build a rehab plan aligned with your surgeon's protocol while progressing you toward a full return to activity.
It's rarely too late. Many patients come to us after years of chronic pain and multiple providers. Chronic issues often persist because the root cause was never properly identified. A thorough evaluation frequently uncovers what was missed and creates a real path forward.
Your first visit is a comprehensive evaluation lasting about an hour. Your therapist takes a detailed history, listens to your story, performs a hands-on physical assessment, and explains exactly what's going on and why. You'll leave with a clear diagnosis, a treatment plan, and typically some initial treatment on day one.
It varies by condition, but most patients see significant improvement within 6 to 12 sessions. Because sessions are fully one-on-one for a full hour, progress tends to be faster than in a traditional setting. We'll give you an honest estimate after your evaluation, we're not in the business of keeping you coming forever.
Yes. Your home program is a critical part of recovery. You'll get specific, purposeful exercises tailored to your stage of recovery and your goals, and we'll progress them as you improve, not a generic printout.
This is one of the most common things we hear. Most patients have been through a model where they saw a different person every visit, did generic exercises, and never felt like anyone truly understood their problem. Ours is different: the same therapist every visit, a full hour of hands-on care, and a plan that targets the actual root cause instead of just the symptoms.
Absolutely. While we love working with athletes, we treat anyone with a musculoskeletal issue. Whether your goal is running a marathon, playing with your kids, or simply walking without pain, we meet you where you are and build a plan around what matters to you.
In many cases, yes. Research shows physical therapy can be equally effective as surgery for a number of orthopedic conditions, including rotator cuff tears, meniscus tears, and certain back conditions. A thorough evaluation helps determine whether conservative treatment is a viable path before committing to surgery.
Tell us what's going on and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit.
