“After 10 years of dealing with recurring hip pain and multiple rounds of physical therapy that only stopped the pain temporarily, I was finally told by my latest ortho to try Vitality. I am pleased to say that now, almost two years post physical therapy with them, I am walking AND running still pain free.”

What patients tell us
“I did PT for three months at another place and nothing changed. After four sessions here, I could already tell something was different.” VTP Patient
Why This Doesn’t Feel Like Typical PT

Built for people who can’t accept “just stop doing it.”

We meet you where you are, modify what's necessary, and keep you moving toward the sport, training, or life that matters to you.

1

A full hour, one-on-one

Never split with another patient, never handed off to a tech or aide.

2

We find the root cause

A thorough evaluation, not a generic exercise sheet copied from the last patient.

3

Programming for your sport

CrossFit, running, lifting, cycling, or simply keeping up with your kids, your plan is built around your goals.

How It Works

One process, from stuck to strong.

Rest alone almost never fixes it. It just pauses the symptoms until you go back to the activity you love, and the same dysfunction flares back up. Here's how we actually break that cycle.

The injury cycle: Reset, Restore, Rebuild, Maintain
ResetSessions 1–3 · find the real cause. A hands-on evaluation and a clear explanation of what's actually going on, while pain settles enough to move and train again.
RestoreSessions 4–7 · fix it. A personalized plan that fixes the weakness the pain was hiding, built around your body and your sport.
RebuildSessions 8–12 · stay at peak performance. Performance programming so you leave stronger than your pre-injury baseline.
MaintainOngoing. Keep the progress and prevent the setback from creeping back in.
Conditions We Treat

From pain to peak performance.

A huge share of our patients are runners and endurance athletes looking to keep training, not stop. Shoulder, knee, and hip issues are just as common.

01Running Injuries

Shin splints, plantar fasciitis, an Achilles ache that never fully quiets down. Most runners get told to rest and hope. We run a full gait and load assessment and build a return-to-running plan that keeps you in mileage, not sidelined.

“Came in for the runners program with bad feet pain and plantar fasciitis. The pain was almost debilitating… Gave me real help through multiple methods to get me back to running consistently with no pain.” Thad E., VTP patient

02Shoulder

Overhead lifts turn into guesswork, and reaching behind your back starts to hurt. We assess the whole kinetic chain, not just the joint, and rebuild the strength and mechanics that let you press, pull, and throw without flinching.

“They fixed chronic shoulder pain that I had been dealing with for many years. I had been mis-diagnosed with arthritis in my shoulders… I just hit an overhead strict press PR of 225lbs for three reps.” Beau J., VTP patient

03Hip Pain

That pinch in the front of your hip on squats, or the ache that shows up after long runs. We find the actual mobility or stability gap driving it and retrain the pattern, not just stretch around the symptom.

“I came to Vitality after a hip injury left me unable to squat just 6 weeks before I was due to compete at the USA Weightlifting National Championships. Cord was able to expedite my recovery so that I could compete.” Lauren D., VTP patient

04Low Back Pain

Deadlifts you're afraid to load, or a back that tightens up after sitting all day. One hour with the same doctor of physical therapy every visit, building strength and mechanics around your training, not a generic core routine.

“I had back surgery in September, tried a couple other ‘group PT’ places. Then came to Vitality and man what a difference! I'm lifting again, working out multiple times a week, on the road back.” Mark M., VTP patient

05Knee Pain & IT Band

That sharp pull on the outside of your knee at mile three, or pain on stairs that won't quit. We look above and below the joint, hip and ankle included, to fix what's actually driving the load problem.

“I was told the only way to fix my knee issue was through surgery. After four months of rehab programming, I'm back to squatting, deadlifting, and bench pressing without pain.” Brett M., VTP patient

06CrossFit Injuries

Wrist pain from overhead work, a shoulder that barks during muscle-ups, knees that complain under heavy squats. We keep you training through it with a plan built around your programming, not a blanket "stop lifting" order.

“I've been doing CrossFit for a couple of years, and thought injuries and pain would just be something I had to deal with. Cord explained why I was having pain and what led to my injury.” Joe & Sara R., VTP patients

07Run Lab

Most gait analysis hands you a printout and a shrug. Run Lab pairs real movement assessment with a doctor of physical therapy who actually changes your mechanics, not just measures them.

“I came into Vitality looking for some relief from knee pain that was becoming chronic from running. What I got was an entire form transformation… My running has been completely overhauled.” Hannah G., VTP patient

08Cycling Injuries

Knee pain from your position, a low back that locks up after long rides, numbness you've just learned to live with. We dial in the movement and the bike-fit issues most PT clinics never touch.

“My hip made training painful. Not only did they rehab my hip to where I got back to training quickly, they also showed me stretches to do correctly. Kudos to Cord DeMoss for letting the Bixby Bikes Ironman Team know about you guys!” Nicole B., VTP patient

Is This You?

You're probably in the right place if…

Most of our patients come to us after hearing some version of "just stop doing it" from someone else.

You were told to just rest it

And resting made it feel better for a while, right up until you went back to your sport and it came right back.

You've tried PT before

But it felt generic, rushed, or like you were handed the same exercise sheet as everyone else in the room.

Rest and recovery aren't optional for you

You have a race, a sport, or a training goal you're not willing to give up, and you need a plan built around it.

Meet The Team
